Bigfoot Farms

ON THE NEWS

ABC30 featured our pumpkin patch last year and gave viewers a look at what makes Bigfoot Farms a little different. We’re grateful for the support from our community and proud to keep creating a fun, unique fall experience right here in Porterville.

We’re back for year two of the Bigfoot Farms’ Pumpkin Patch
in Porterville, California, and a little fall magic is making its
way back to the farm.

Spend the day wandering through the patch, dancing in the sunflowers, visiting the animals, playing carnival games, exploring Halloween scenes, getting your face painted, taking way too many fall photos, and grabbing something good to eat and drink along the way. And, of course, don’t leave without the perfect pumpkin.

A lot of what you’ll see around the patch was dreamed up and built right here on the farm. From games and displays to many of the decorations, we’ve made much of it ourselves using lumber cut at our family sawmill, Witt Hardwoods, from old-growth logs ethically sourced from our Sequoia National Forest.

We want this to be the kind of place your family and friends look forward to coming back to every fall. Come stay awhile, get a little dirty, soak up the fall vibes, take the pictures, and
spend the day somewhere that feels like its own little world.

Year two starts here - we can’t wait to see you at the patch!

“This was the best experience that I have had at a pumpkin patch. The face painting, the petting zoo, and the food is amazing. This is a 10 out of 10 place to go if you want to go to a pumpkin patch in Porterville.”

Aaron G.

“Thank you so much for creating such a fun place for me and my family. We love it here and it is so different than anything Porterville has seen! Our favorite games were the Balloon Burst and Gone Fishing!”

Leslie H.

“I relaxed with my 4 & 6 year old while we played games, sat to eat, got face paintings, fed animals and took pictures. My kids picked huge pumpkins. I saved money and didn't have to leave town.”

school field trips

This year, we’re opening the pumpkin patch for school field trips!

Bring your class out to Bigfoot Farms for a tour through the patch, a hands-on farm experience, plenty of outdoor fun and all the fall vibes that come with a day at the pumpkin patch. It’s a chance for students to get outside, explore the farm and enjoy something
a little different from the usual classroom day.

Field trip dates and bookings are limited.
